Bill Vasilieff is the Chief Executive Officer and one of the founders of Novia. Prior to setting up Novia he was one of the four founding directors of Selestia where, having joined in 2001, he spent six years in the role of Marketing Director. Selestia was one of the earliest and most successful fund platforms in the UK. Before this role he was at fund manager M&G where he spent eight years, ending in the role as executive director in charge of product development. Bill believes that, "The investment market for advisers is changing and together with our commitment to first class customer service and our independence of any product provider, Novia stands out as a full wrap provider with a difference".
A keen Bath rugby supporter, Bill resides in the city with his wife and two children.
Paul spent seven years at Selestia helping to launch the platform in November 2001 to the IFA market place.
Paul has helped project manage a large number of IFAs make the transition from traditional transactional selling to relationship based financial advice with the aim of increasing business values, reducing unit cost and mitigating business risk. Paul has also been responsible for starting a new retail insurance business and considers Novia's proposition to the adviser market as, "...the perfect solution for the new adviser business model, post RDR and TCF".
Paul's hobbies involve all sport particularly skiing, travelling, socialising, although most of his time is spent ferrying his three children to various venues. Paul is also IMC qualified.
Shaun's worked within the financial services industry for over 20 years in a number of roles varying from product and proposition development to programme management of change programmes. He has experience in both working for large and start up organisations such as M&G Investment Managers and more recently as a senior manager at Selestia.
Shaun believes, "At Novia I have the opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial team providing Financial Advisers with a fully integrated wrap service".
In his spare time Shaun can be found playing golf and, when the opportunity arises, on a number of different courses across many countries.
Rich has over 20 years experience in financial services senior governance roles and is an experienced interpreter of FSA Rules, Data Protection and Prevention of Financial Crime legislation. Among many achievements, Rich created a compliance regime at Zurich Independent Wealth Management Ltd that was acknowledged as 'the one to be followed by the rest of the ZIWM Ltd Business'. He has worked as an adviser to teams of Wesleyan and Cap Gemini staff designing integrated systems. He also designed and implemented Financial Crime and Data Protection Awareness Training Programmes for 3000+ Financial Advisers and Support staff at Openwork.
Academics include Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice, the CII Certificate in Financial Planning, Diploma in Business Studies and Financial Accounting and the ICA UK Diploma in Anti Money Laundering.
Rich enjoys playing and watching a variety of team and individual sports and is a keen motorcyclist and golfer.
Dominic is a qualified accountant with 10 years experience in the financial services sector. He commenced his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving on to a more commercial role at Standard Chartered Bank where he provided financial support for the Corporate Banking and trading teams. In 2003 Dominic moved to Beazley Group plc as Head of Management Reporting where he was responsible for Executive reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Dominic enjoys sailing and playing squash in his spare time and is also a keen rugby fan. Having relocated for this role, he is looking forward to living so close to the Rec!
