Paul Boston - Director of Sales
Paul spent seven years at Selestia helping to launch the platform in November 2001 to the IFA market place.
Paul has helped project manage a large number of IFAs make the transition from traditional transactional selling to relationship based financial advice with the aim of increasing business values, reducing unit cost and mitigating business risk. Paul has also been responsible for starting a new retail insurance business and considers Novia's proposition to the adviser market as, "...the perfect solution for the new adviser business model, post RDR and TCF".
Paul's hobbies involve all sport particularly skiing, travelling, socialising, although most of his time is spent ferrying his three children to various venues. Paul is also IMC qualified.

Steve Wissett - North West & North Wales Sales Manager
Steve has been working in Financial Services for over 20 years where he spent 15 years working for the Abbey group of insurance companies Scottish Mutual and Scottish Provident, together with their international business arms both in the North West of England and the Isle of Man.
Steve has enjoyed top national consultancy positions and also helped bring the James Hay Wrap to market.
During the last five years Steve has been part of the highly successful Selestia sales team working as regional sales manager for Lancashire and Merseyside and says "It is great to be working with a lot of highly professional and platform focused colleagues and introducing the exciting Novia wrap proposition to the UK market".

Brian King - Midlands Sales Manager
Brian has been employed in the financial services industry for 30 years, including 10 years at M&G. He joined Selestia in 2003 as Regional Sales Manager working with advisers in the South West of England and South Wales.
Brian is "...excited at joining Novia," and feels "it was an easy decision to make knowing the quality and experience of the whole team and the commitment of all involved in ensuring that Novia becomes the wrap provider of choice for financial advisers".
Married with two teenage daughters Brian enjoys most sports, particularly football, and travelling and is also IMC qualified.

Andrew Back - South Sales Manager
Andrew has been in Financial Services for over 17 years. Andrew's early career was with Axa before moving to an IFA sales role at National Mutual. He progressed to become Key Accounts Manager, and in 2001 Andrew was approached to lead the National Accounts function of Selestia. Here he held a regional role for six years.
Following this Andrew worked for UBS's UK platform for 18 months, during which time he gained the IMC.
Andrew says, "Having worked with adviser businesses in the platform arena for some time, I am keen to take that experience and combine it with Novia's complete wrap solution and focus on the needs of the adviser's business and their clients. Our industry is changing and I believe adviser firms want to be supported in gaining genuine control of client assets, and to optimise their client experience".
Most of Andrew's spare time is centred around his wife and two children. He also tries to find time for sport, as well as socialising and travel.

Charlie Hastings - Scotland & NI Sales Manager
Born and bred in Edinburgh, Charlie has resided in Fife for over 20 years. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years having spent the majority of his time in the adviser relationship area including over 12 years with Scottish Provident, five with Royal & SunAlliance and six years concentrating on the platform/wrap market with Selestia.
Charlie's looking forward to the challenge of promoting a new independent adviser focused service proposition and believes the Novia team have tremendous knowledge and the experience of the 'service based' proposition. Charlie notes, "With the challenges of RDR, CAR not to mention TCF, Novia is in a fantastic position to work alongside advisers on bespoke solutions to their individual businesses".
A committed football fan throughout the winter months Charlie is also a very enthusiastic 'fair weather' golfer during the summer.

Chris Skelhorn – South West & South Wales Sales Manager
Chris has over 20 years experience in the life and investment industry, principally managing sales and account management. He has worked for life companies including Norwich Union and joined Novia from Zurich where he was Area Sales Director within the Intermediary Group.
Chris describes himself as using his knowledge and experience to develop a ‘pragmatic approach’ to working with advisers to deliver improved efficiency and profitability in their business.
Married with two children, Chris lives near Chippenham in Wiltshire and is also a keen yachtsman regularly enjoying offshore racing.

Dave Field - Adviser Business Strategy
Dave has been working in the platform industry for the last 10 years, having spent five years at Cofunds where he launched the platform and ran part of the operations team. Dave moved to Selestia and developed the consolidation proposition working with advisers to move assets on to the platform.
Dave joined Novia to continue to work at the forefront of the platform market and feels he has "Joined a company with a very experienced and successful team" and is, "looking forward to working in partnership with adviser firms to provide top quality wealth management service for their clients".
Holding a BA (Hons) in psychology, Dave recently gained the IMC, is currently writing a novel and also training for a triathlon!
