Paul is one of the three founding directors of Novia Financial. In the 7 years since launch, the business has attracted in excess of £4.5 billion sales and hit profitability 3 years after launch. In this period Novia was also responsible for the development of the AEGON wrap. This experience has been extended to the recent launch of our new multi-currency, offshore platform, Novia Global. Novia Financial was created out of a genuine desire to put the client at the head of the food chain, and every Novia development starts with the question "how will this enable the client to achieve the best possible outcome from the investment decision they make"?
Prior to this Paul spent 7 years helping launch the Selestia platform which latterly became the Skandia platform. Whilst there, Paul helped project manage a large number of IFAs making the transition from traditional transactional selling to relationship based financial advice with the aim of increasing business values, reducing unit cost and mitigating business risk. Paul's spare time is spent skiing, sailing, cycling, dining and ferrying three children to various venues.

I have worked in Financial Services for 28 years, taking in roles at Friends Provident, Royal & Sun Alliance, Scottish Life, and latterly I spent 15 years at Legal & General, covering the North of England, promoting the LGIM range of collective investments to Advisory and Discretionary firms.
I have built up very strong relationships in the North over that time, and I am looking forward to be able to build on those relationships as I move into the next phase of my career with Novia. Once I had visited the Novia offices in Bath, and met the management team, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the Company I wanted to join. Novia are a very forward thinking Company, and I am very excited to be a part of their continued growth and development in the Platform and DFM market.
Outside of work, my hands are kept full with a very active 6 year old daughter. I have recently joined a gym nearer to home so I don't have the excuse that it's too far away anymore, and ever the optimist, I am a season ticket holder at Everton FC.

The chance to work with a smaller, more agile, innovative team at Novia was an opportunity too great to miss,
"I strongly believe that truly putting the customer at the heart of everything, is vital to the success of any organisation. As is the ability to act swiftly when necessary. This is especially true in today's marketplace, when finding a differential is so important. Successful advisers know this and I'm looking forward to working with a Provider organisation that embraces this too"
In her spare time, Helen enjoys messing about with boats, skiing (both on and off the water), walking her dog and gardening in South Devon, where she now lives.
