A number of third party SIPP and Offshore Bond providers utilise the Novia GIA. The process is very straightforward with the Adviser and client opening up the external wrapper and filling in the relevant paperwork to outsource the custody to Novia.
The third party provider then sends the money across for investment on the Novia platform. Once on platform, the Adviser is able to manage the client investments (subject to any restrictions with the external wrapper provider).

Estate Transfer Bond (ETB)
The bond is structured as a series of non-surrenderable endowment policies which mature on a series of perdetermined dates set by the Settlor. The Trustees have the ability to extend the maturity dates (some or all) to a later policy anniversary. As the bond is non-surrenderable the Settlor is assured of an 'income' (as adult Beneficiaries are entitled to ask for their share under a Bare Trust). The trust is IHT free after 7 years (discounted initially) with any growth outside of the estate immediately. ETB is a Potentially Exempt Transfer.

Summary of Benefits and Charges
The Intelligent Pension is a simple, low cost, personal pension plan that allows Advisers to access all of the HMRC permissible regulated products and collectives on the Novia platform.
It has no initial charge and no charges to switch pensions over or make new contributions, just a very low annual charge of 0.5%, capped at £125 per year. Income drawdown is also available at a further annual charge of £75.
An added feature of the Intelligent Pension is that it can be written as either a standard personal pension plan, or with a deferred SIPP option - allowing clients to switch into the Intelligent SIPP without the need to complete additional forms or move funds.
You are free to select how you would like each plan written, depending upon client requirements and any compliance restrictions.

AEGON Ireland is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for the conduct of UK business, which means we act in line with the European Life Directives. The Premiere Account is a single premium offshore life assurance policy designed for someone looking to defer the effect of direct UK taxation on their investment whilst retaining access to the investment or wishing to take a regular income from the investment.
Premiere Account Option 1 (up-front charge): establishment is taken in advance - reducing the allocation of the investment
Premiere Account Option 2 (100% allocation of investment) - establishment charges are taken quarterly in arrears
Premiere Account Option 3 - management fees are taken quarterly in arrears
The quarterly administration fee is taken in advance for all three options. Servicing commission and fund Adviser fees are deducted and paid quarterly in arrears.
The Wealth Preservation Account consists of a number of Canada Life International policies and a trust. This structure is designed for someone who wants to reduce their potential Inheritance Tax bill and is happy to give away a sum of money in order to do so. It also provides the opportunity to link the performance of the plan to a wide range of investment funds or cash deposits. The plan also provides optional annual payments existing income or other financial planning needs.
