A number of third party SIPP and Offshore Bond providers utilise the Novia GIA. The process is very straightforward with the Adviser and client opening up the external wrapper and filling in the relevant paperwork to outsource the custody to Novia.
The third party provider then sends the money across for investment on the Novia platform. Once on platform, the Adviser is able to manage the client investments (subject to any restrictions with the external wrapper provider).
The list we have provided below represents the majority of our suppliers but is not definitive. Please get in touch if you would like more information about our Third Party Suppliers.
The IOMA Group administers or manages over $8 billion of funds for global clients.
As a niche wealth manager, we have a proven track record in innovative solutions that deliver results and mitigate risk. The IOMA Group is small enough to offer a highly personal service, but sufficiently large to provider in-depth, specialist expertise.
We were the first composite insurance company on the Isle of Man and one of its independent financial services groups. Our international perspective on tax affairs, wealth creation and development, and retirement planning has reaped significant rewards for clients.
IOMA Life focuses on innovative and traditional ways to use life assurance as an effective wealth management and preservation tool.
Our inheritance tax solutions:
Estate Control Bond (ECB)
The bond is structured as a series of endowment policies which mature on a series of predetermined dates set by the Settlor. The Trustees have the ability to extend the maturity dates (some or all) to a later policy anniversary. The Trustees also have the ability to surrender or make assignments (to the Beneficiaries) of individual policies whenever they like (even during the Settlor's lifetime). Assigned policies can then be run as separate investments or surrendered. ECB is a Chargeable Lifetime Transfer Trust. The Trust is IHT free after 7 years, with any growth outside of the estate immediately.
Estate Management Bond (EMB)
The bond is structured as a series of non-surrenderable endowment policies which mature on a series of predetermined dates set by the Settlor. The Trustees have the ability to extend the maturity dates (some or all) to a late policy anniversary. EMB is a Chargeable Lifetime Transfer Trust. The Trust is IHT free after 7 years, with any growth outside of the estate immediately. There are additional tax benefits with this plan.
Estate Transfer Bond (ETB)
The bond is structured as a series of non-surrenderable endowment policies which mature on a series of perdetermined dates set by the Settlor. The Trustees have the ability to extend the maturity dates (some or all) to a later policy anniversary. As the bond is non-surrenderable the Settlor is assured of an 'income' (as adult Beneficiaries are entitled to ask for their share under a Bare Trust). The trust is IHT free after 7 years (discounted initially) with any growth outside of the estate immediately. ETB is a Potentially Exempt Transfer.

The Curtis Banks SIPP is designed to be the product of choice for a wide spectrum of clients and their Advisers.
The Curtis Banks SIPP incorporates a range of features:
Clients and Advisers can invest in funds of their choice, using their own streamlined dealing arrangements or their existing brokers and fund managers. Our website then gives them online access to current investment valuations, banking transactions and other client data.
We have the expertise to handle all types of investments and flexibility, such as property, unquoted equities and in specie payments. We can carry out property conveyancing in-house or clients can use their own solicitors. We provide all the features of a full SIPP.
A flexible fee structure ensures that the product is competitive for a wide range of clients, from simple 'single investment' cases to more complex pension arrangements. Clients only pay for what they need.
Our experienced staff are able to deliver a high level of service, backed up by our investment in market-leading systems.
Our senior team set up its first SIPP in 1995 and we have hands-on experience of a successful SIPP operation since then. Our SIPP is specifically designed for clarity and ease of use by clients and their Advisers, giving them a bespoke, high quality product.
Hornbuckle has been a robust force in the retirement market for more than 30 years.
During this time, we have been at the forefront of specialist pension provision, focused on providing maximum investment flexibility to our clients underpinned by technical expertise, risk control and service excellence.
As a leading specialist pension provider, we focus on two types of pension solution: Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) and small self-administered scheme (SSAS).
Full SIPP: Our Full SIPP provides your client the freedom to choose to invest their funds in a wide variety of investments including commercial property, OEICs, Unit Trusts and Unlisted Shares. The client also has the option of using their fund in supporting borrowing for the scheme.
Single SIPP: The Hornbuckle Single Investment SIPP is a low-cost self-invested personal pension. It can be used in the accumulation stage of pension planning and to take income drawdown. With the Single Investment SIPP, your clients can hold cash with Bank of Scotland and select one other investment. This can be a standard investment or certain non-standard investments.
SSAS: If your client is a business owner or senior employee, a Small Self-Administered Scheme (SSAS) could be a good choice for them. SSAS gives your client the freedom to invest in their sponsoring company. For example, they could borrow from the scheme to fund the purchase of company permises instead of borrowing from the bank. Our professional trustee and pension administration services are designed to make sure that the scheme complies with all regulatory requirements.
Signature: Signature is our market innovation designed to purchase and administer tenanted, single-lease properties efficiently. We've called this process Signature as after some initial decisions by the client, all that is required is a signature. To find out whether a property qualifies for our Signature service and how much it may cost, you can access our Property Evaluation tool at: http://hornbuckle.co.uk/signature-wizard
Investment Selector tool: Understanding what can and cannot be invested in a self-invested pension and how those investments are treated is not always clear. Not at Hornbuckle. We've created the 'Investment Selector', a web-based interactive tool that provides a quick and simple reference guide for the wide range of investment types that we permit. You can access the tool on our website at www.hornbuckle.co.uk
